NTPro Email and Text Notification Highlights

NarcTrak Pro offers a variety of different notification options.

For example, NarcTrak Pro allows you receive not only email notifications but also text messages on any of the options listed in personal settings.  This includes alerts when an RFID tagged item is not checked back into another device, an RFID tagged item has expired, an RFID tagged item will expire within ... days, a medication pouch is not checked back into another device, a medication pouch is not resealed.  These notifications (shown in the image below with a red asterisk next to it) are all specific to NarcTrak Pro and cannot be used without it.  More information on setting up Text Message alerts can be found here: 'Set Up Text Alerts'

For the notification "A RFID tagged item will expire within ... days" you are able to set a time frame. Pick any number of days to be notified ahead of time so you can easily replace meds before they are expired, "Alert me when a medication is expiring within __ days."  You can also select which NarcBoxes you want to be notified about. Lets say you have a restock box and you only want to know when those meds are going to be expiring so you can order more or place them into another location that has a higher chance of being used.  Enter the NarcBox serial number in the space listed and you will get notified for that specific box.  You can leave it blank to be notified about all NarcBoxes or pick a few boxes to be notified about, it is totally up to you!   You can also do the same with by including or limited which medications you want to be notified on.  If you have one med that expires in a shorter amount of time you can select to only be notified about that one, or you can be notified about all of them.  The choice is yours.

NarcTrak Pro also allows you to mute missed shift change notifications on boxes that have zero medications in it. This way you don't have to turn off the shift change status of the box and remember to turn it back on when it goes out in the field. The website does the work for you!
More information on setting up this feature can be found here: 'Mute/Exclude no med Shift Changes'

NarcTrak Pro also allows you to include or remove missed shift changes on boxes with zero medications on your reports. This option is in the Settings under Shift Change/Temperature settings. This option is automatically selected so that all missed shift changes are included on your reports. If you want them removed, just go in and deselect this option and your reports will only show missed shift changes on boxes with medications in them.
