Screen Issues on HQ


Blinking Screen -

If your HQ screen is blinking (switching from a black screen to a blue screen), please check your power cord. The HQ needs a more powerful cord than a locker or a standard NarcBox. The HQ power cord is similar to a computer power cord with a brick in between two cords. Check to ensure that the cord plugged into your HQ is this type of cord. The power cord supplied with the HQ will be labeled 'Power to HQ Control Panel'. The smaller cord supplied will be for the HQ Locker.

If you have the correct power cord being used, please make sure there is a light on the brick. If you are still having an issue, please try a different outlet or power cord if possible.

Frozen Screen - 

If your HQ screen has frozen and you are unable to do anything on it, please push and hold the reset button for 10 seconds. This is located on the right side of your HQ Control Panel. Give it a few moments to reboot and then check your WiFi/Network connection. After ensuring that your WiFi/Network is working, go into the Settings, select Maintenance, and then select the Sync button so all data will be transferred to and from the HQ and the website. After this is done return to your task and make sure to give the panel some time to process every button that you select. Sometimes all you need to do is slow down and things will work better. 

If you continue to have the HQ screen freeze, this is most likely due to a WiFi or Network communication issue. Since all of the HQ transactions require WiFi or a Network connection, any sort of connection issue can cause this to occur. Please see our WiFi FAQ page for more information.

Rainbow or Black with White print Screen -

If your HQ is displaying a rainbow or black with white print screen, please push and hold the reset button for 10 seconds. If this doesn't resolve the issue please contact us by submitting a ticket, emailing at support@narcbox.com, or calling us at 888-627-2269 as soon as possible to resolve this issue.
