PPAEMA Regulatory Compliance (CFR) - Acquisition Log Report - § 1304.27(b)(1)

§ 1304.27(b)(1). Required documentation for initial acquisition
The EMS agency must maintain records with all of the following
information:
For each acquisition of a controlled substance from another registrant:
- Name of the substance
- Finished form of the substance (e.g., strength or concentration);
- Number of units or volume of finished form in each commercial container;
- Number of commercial containers acquired;
- Date of the acquisition;
- Name, address, and registration number of the person from whom the
substance was acquired; and
- Name and title of the person acquiring the controlled
substance.
Required under § 1304.27(b)(1). Name, address, and registration number of the person from whom the substance was acquired information will be apart of your Form 222. Once the Medication is added in the NarcTrak system, it is critical to add the Form 222 as an image to those transactions so they will be included with the Exported Report. We will explain more in the details below.
In order to ensure you will get all the information required in the reports, we must set up a few items before we can start the initial process. All of these "Set Up" items must be in place before the transactions are done in order for the associated information will be able to populate into the reports properly.

Make sure to add your
User Titles to each of your Users who acquire your medications and whom specifically perform the
adding of medications to your NarcTrak Pro System and NarcBoxes.

Adding your Medication to NarcTrak
Go online to your "Added medication" transaction. Select the ellipses (3 dots) in the event transaction, select 'Add File/Image'. Then select 'Choose File' to be able to select any file from your computer or device. Select your appropriate file to attached, and SAVE.

Exporting Reports
In your Export Center, Select the CFR Acquisition Log Report § 1304.27(b)(1). Select your date range, interval, or month. And whether you would like to include images in your report and to download associated documents as a ZIP (both recommended as these will be the attached Form 222). Press Download.
Downloads
Open your downloads where they are set to be saved on computer. If you did have added images to your events as recommended, you will also have a zip folder to open. You will also be able to see them on the excel file via the tabs.
CFR Acquisition Log Report
Tab 1 will have the acquisition log report.
Tab 2 will have the name of files that were attached to each event and notates which lines the file is/are associated with.
Tab 3 will display a copy of each attached image.
