"Invalid Credentials" or "Incorrect PIN":
You may need to sync your box if you're getting messages that say "Invalid Credentials" or "Incorrect PIN" when trying to open the NarcBox. If you are a new employee or recently reset your pin, your box may not have synced since your credentials were created or updated online. You need to make sure you have good WiFi, go into the Settings and select Sync and this should upload your credentials to the box if you got the message "Sync OK".
If the door won’t open after syncing the NarcBox and getting a "Sync OK" or you are still getting the error "Invalid Credentials" or "Incorrect PIN" try typing your PIN in slower and being very precise of which buttons you are pressing. This is not a normal touch screen like your phone. This is so you can wear gloves when operating the NarcBox. Because it is a different type of touch screen it is less sensitive and can sometimes get confused about what number you are pushing. Select each button like you are pushing a button instead of taping a screen. Watch to see what number pops up after you select each button to ensure that the number you are wanting to select is the number being selected. You can also use a writing stylus to more carefully select each number, the back of a push pen (we don't want sharp objects to come in contact with the screen) or a pen with a lid on it.
Our Customer Support representatives can help with some PIN issues also, however we will need to speak with the specific employee to discuss their PIN number. We can look on the back end to see what PIN number is actually being entered in. We can also see if you are correctly remembering your PIN number that was assigned to you. Please call us at 888-627-2269 (888-NARCBOX) for assistance with PIN number issues.
