Adding and Editing Users

Adding users to your NarcBox account:

  1. After you have created your account, go to the 'Users' section
  2. Click the '+ Add User' button
  3. Enter a Name and Email address (Employee ID and other contact info is optional)
  4. If you are using RFID cards, you can assign a card number to this employee at this time. If you are not using RFID, you can leave this field blank. (RFIDs can be assigned/unassigned anytime in the future by editing the user; see the section Activating RFID and assigning RFID Cards for further details regarding the management of RFID.)
  5. If you are using Biometrics as a user access option, this is where you will need to enable each user to enroll their fingerprint on a NarcBox.  See more information under Biometric Capabilities
  6. If you want this user to also be an admin on the website, check Group Administrator or Account Administrator. For standard users without website and administrative access, check Employee/Paramedic or EMT/Witness.
  7. Click 'Save' button.
Your New User has been added! If your account is configured to use PINS, the new user will receive an automated email which will direct them to retrieve their automatic generated 5 digit PIN number.



Editing Users in your NarcBox account:

  1. Go to the 'Users' section
  2. Find the User you wish to edit 
  3. On the Users line on the right side, hover over 'Actions'
  4. Now select 'Edit'
  5. An Edit Users screen will pop up.  Edit the information you wish to change/update.  Name, Employee ID, RFID info, Enable or Disable Biometrics, Change or Update user type to EMT, Employee/Paramedic, Group Administrator or Account Administrator.  Note: if updating an email address for an Admin or Group Admin, this will require that user to re-verify the next time they log in.  
  6. Click 'Save' button.



Deactivating a User in your NarcBox account:

  1. Go to the 'Users' section
  2. Find the User you wish to edit 
  3. On the Users line on the right side, hover over 'Actions'
  4. Now select 'Deactivate User'
  5. You will then get a pop up that ask if you are sure you want to deactivate that user. Press 'OK'
  6. The User has been deactivated






Re-activating a User in your NarcBox account:

  1. Go to the 'Users' section
  2. Select the 'Deactivated' tab
  3. Find the User you wish to re-activate
  4. Select the 'Restore' Symbol
  5. The User has been Re-activated and Restored
