Security Profiles allow you to set up different rules for access to your boxes. You can set up as many profiles as you want but each of your boxes can only be in one security profile. In this article you will learn how to set up a security profile and how to put your boxes in them.
To create a new security profile:
1) Go into your Settings and click on the Security tab
2) Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Create New Security Profile
3) Enter in the name of the security profile (ex: Admin Access Only), then select which forms of access you would like to allow, then select how many people you would like to require to access the device, how many forms of access you would like to require and lastly if you want to require an admin to access the box. Then select Save at the bottom of the page
To add boxes to your profile:
1) You can add them through the security tab if your boxes are in a security profile already
- You will open up the profile that has the boxes in them and click the arrows button and select a different profile to put them into
2) You can add them through the NarcBoxes page
- You will go to the right side of the page and select actions, edit, and then scroll to the bottom where it says security profile. Then you will click the drop down and select which profile you would like the device to be in, then click save
Additional notes:
1) You can select the option to notify users when their credentials are used to access a box
2) Make sure you sync your box after switching or adding them to a security profile
3) Each box can only be in ONE security profile
