Retire Non-Tagged or Tagged Medications- The Complete Process

If the medication is in the NarcBox, you will need to "Transfer Out" inventory first by doing the following:

Non Pouch (Non-Tagged or Tagged Medications)
  1. On the NarcBox press ‘Manage Inventory’
  2. Enter User(s) Credentials - PIN/RFID/BIO
  3. For Non-Tagged Meds
    a. Restock:  press the + or - to adjust how many of each medication is being
    Transferred In (+) or Transferred Out (-)
    b. Press '
    Done'
    c. "Save Stock Changes?", press 'Save'
  4. For Tagged Meds:  
    a. Press Transfer In’ or Transfer Out’
    b. Scan the RFID tagged medications or key in the item info
    c. When done scanning, press
    Done
    d. 
    Review the Transfer Summary screen, press the down arrow to view more
    e. 
    Once you have reviewed that all the medications are correct, press Save
    f. "Confirm Save Report?", press Save'
    g. "Transfer Complete Report Saved" - Done
OR

Pouch (Tagged Medications in a pouch)
  1. On the NarcBox press ‘Manage Inventory’
  2. Enter User(s) Credentials - PIN/RFID/BIO
  3. Press Restock
  4. Scan the Pouch RFID or enter manually
  5. Press 'Remove Med'
  6. Scan or manually enter RFID Med Tag(s) that you are removing, press ‘Done’
  7. View Scanned item(s) is/are correct, press Save
  8. "Confirm Save Report?", press Save'

Now that the medication is out of the NarcBox, you will need to follow these
next steps on the HQ Control Panel:


HQ
, Transfer In (Non-Tagged or Tagged Medications)

  1. Select 'Manage Inventory' 
  2. Enter User(s) Credentials - PIN/RFID/BIO
  3. Select 'Transfer In'
  4. For Non-Tagged Meds:
    a. "Are you transferring RFID tagged items into the HQ"
    , select 
    'No'
    b. If you have multiple lockers, press 'Open/Select Locker', select desired Locker,
    press 
    'Switch Locker' (1 Locker at a time)
    c. Select the Medication you are wanting to transfer in
    d. Enter the Quantity, then select 'Add'
    e. Repeat steps 5-7 until all meds have been added that you are transferring in
  5. For Tagged Meds:
    a. 
    "Are you transferring in RFID tagged items into the HQ", select 'Yes' 
    b. If you have multiple lockers, press 'Open/Select Locker', select desired Locker,
    press 
    'Switch Locker' (1 Locker at a time)
    c. 
    Scan the RFID's or press 'Enter RFID Manually' for the medications that you want to transfer in
  6. When you are finished/done scanning press 'Done'
  7. Review Meds and select 'Confirm'
  8. Sending data to server - Complete

  

HQ, Retire (Remove) (Non-Tagged or Tagged Medications)

  1. Press Manage Inventory
  2. Enter User(s) Credentials - PIN/RFID/BIO
  3. Press Retire Items
  4. For Non-Tagged Meds:
    a. "Are you removing RFID tagged items from the HQ”, select 'No'
    b. If you have multiple lockers, press 'Open/Select Locker', select desired Locker,
    press
     'Switch Locker' (1 Locker at a time)
    c. Select 'Medication' and then click on the medication you are retiring
    d. Enter the quantity of medications that you are retiring then press 'Add'
    e. If you need to enter more medications, go back to step 4b
  5. For Tagged Meds:
    a. "Are you removing RFID tagged items from the HQ”
    , select 
    'Yes'
    b. If you have multiple lockers, press 'Open/Select Locker', select desired Locker,
    press 
    'Switch Locker' (1 Locker at a time)
    c. Scan the RFID's or press 'Enter RFID Manually' for the medications that are being retired
  6. When done selecting/scanning select 'Next'
  7. Select reason for removal
  8. Select 'Finish' when done
  9. Removal Complete
